Long time reader, about 3rd post...

I'm looking at getting a SpyderCard, but am wodering, will Spyderco be making anything like Tool Logic has? I was looking at credit card knives to compare them and found one I like... but I want something like it, only spydie quality.

I will post the site at the end, for comparison, and will end up getting a spydie for quality anyways.

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

We don't have any plans to make anything like tool logic's models.

2 questions...
1> What is the best name to get for quality on tools like that?
2> Is there just not enough demand for something like that then?

Hmmm. regarding quality names in that field, I have no personal experience to relate. Perhaps some for the visitors can help?

As to market? I am guessing that you are asking why we don't make such a tool?

firstly, It is "their thing" and we've been careful over the years not to invade another company's innovations. Especially if it's their only line.

Secondly, We've been more in the high horsepower low drag type of performance as our market. A deviation might be in a necklace or a tie clip, but they are stlll "Spyderco" jewelry.

A knife as an effective cutting tool with sufficient purchase and blade length is more in line with our expertise.
