Ordered a set of CF Delicas off eBay. Since the seller also had numbered Spydersaws I figured what the heck. Well, when I opened the package I found that all the Delicas _and_ the Saw were #053. They had given me a matched set since I'd ordered the lot.
Pretty cool. Big up the the Knifestore. I've picked up alot of Spydies from them on eBay and their prices range from good to awsome. My $45 Toad came from them.

Most cool! That's a beautiful quartet of carbon!
Most Excellent score there, DR!
Bob is good folks and his catalog of steel covers most makers. Suprised he had complete CF Delica sets and a matching saw is pure decadent icing! Noticed the Hampton Roads locale and thought you mentioned the flightline before. You working at Langley? Drop me a line sometime.

Congrats! Good score! What is your impression of the fit and finish of the CF Delica's? I have heard mixed reviews.

Fit-and-finish is typical Spyderco. Which is to say 'bout perfect. They have the same 'shifting' pattern as the CF Police. When you move knife around it looks like the handles are writhing like a snake. All have smooth action, good lock-up,negligible blade play, and the blades are scary sharp. The SE's' edges feel like my Calypso Jr. They are a touch heavy for CF,but not as bad as the Police(my CF Police felt like the SS models). Not as light as my Gerber SL 3.25,but then it doesn't have a closed back. Bascially,if you liked the CF Police, you'll go for these.
The Spydersaw has an interesting blade. The tip is dull, and the teeth are uni-directional. They also didn't feel as sharp as the saws on my SAK and Leathermans. What really surprised me though was the weight. It's fairly large in the hand, yet weighs less than the CF Deli's. If you're a thru-hiker worried about weight, you'd never notice you had it w/you.
