RANT: Must resist killing... must vent...

My millie has a tanto'ed tip, and I'm glad I have the stones and skill that I do...



The assh*le at work that was working packing with me today, dropped my millie into a metal can beside tha table a few times(top of can is level with table)... 4x before I stopped him. I had a super thin tip, and lost about 1/8".



I yelled from the about 30' away that I was when I saw him do it... had the whole pklace stopped and looking at me(considering that I taught drill to 200cadets, and got to yelling over them,. I had volume)... along the lines of: "You mother fvcker, your fvcking the edge up on my knife and probably the tip. quit fvcking using it or I'll take the $250 out of your hide peice by peice with my now dull edge".... he put it down on the table, and backed away.



no one came near me for about 5-10min... and the boss came from the office to see what I was freaking about. he has seen me spend my 15min break sharpening the millie, so he knows I love the knife. That was the only body around me, or only talking till the end of my shift.



I work tomorrow, overtime($80+ takehome), and I'm taking a pair of fixed tantos...

What demonic minions possessed him to persistently drop a knife into a trash can/metal can? Anybody with a room-temperature IQ can see that isn't good for a knife!

Just take your millie, and cut a &quot;north-south&quot;slit,from his navel to his pubic bone.
Then give him a punch in the chest!!!! The vibration of that impact will cause his intestines to spill through that slit!!!

Take a deep breath and compose yourself. You don't want the manager thinking that your some kind of &quot;knife NUT&quot; .... even if you are one. Otherwise you just might find yourself failing your probation and looking for a new job in a few weeks. Just think of it as a blessing in disguise. Now you have a new project to work on. Be happy.

it was a coffee can, placed on the side for cable ties(what we use to close the ends on the plastic tube).

I could have decked the guy, but would probably have been fired on the spot. he's 5'10&quot;, about 150-160lbs, not too well built(arms bit bigger than mine), and about 35ish...

he asked me to come in tomorrow for overtime work, along with 7 other guys... he must not have thought me too crazy. of course he waited the hour till my shift was over.

heres what to do in steps...
1. find a dead squirel(or kill it youself, just dont tell me about it)
2 take a quarter stick of dynomite.
3. shove the dinomite as far in the squirel(through the mouth please)as you can.
4 put it in his mailbox.
5 light the dinomite
6 IMPORTANT close the lid, wanna contain the mess
7 run.
8 guy opens mailbox in morning, to find lotsa squirel.

Al, I have most of it rounded back into the edge... took some work though. just my VERY tip that is tanto still. give me another day.

with it being my 24/7 carry, I couldn't imagine going about a month without it.

Thats a possibility, if I can pay off my lil temp at month end(should be able to), I'll have to contact them... makes 3 knives for warrenty work.

Man, that would be a real bummer.<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I think you handled that a LOT better than I would've. Job or no job, I would have probably been on his case and then some.
I once had a NIB Starmate that was used as a pry bar to lift up the red-hot grill.<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> The person who did it was right in front of me when it happened too! Needless to say, I put a stop to it REAL quick. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
