MBC Class in the Bay Area, 28-29 June

Thanks to some interested folks in the Bay Area, an MBC Level 1-2 class is being organized at the Richmond Hotshots Range in Richmond, CA on 28-29 June. The cost is $275.00 and includes two 8-hour days of training, a Spyderco training knife and an armguard. For more information on the location of the range, see http://richmondhotshots.com.

What, if anything should I do to prepare for the class? Will you be training indoors or outdoors?

Thanks for your post and your interest in the class.

Yes, there are still a few openings left for the Richmond class. To register, please e-mail me directly at modtempest@aol.com.

Preparation for the class is easy. Wear comfortable street clothes that are configured like your normal daily wear (i.e. pockets in the same place, shirt tucked in or worn out as usual, etc.) and come prepared to learn and have fun. A 3/4 or long-sleeve shirt is sometimes a good idea to provide a little extra protection for the bicep area. Everything else is provided with the class -- training knife, armguard,and written outlines.

If possible, we will try to get some open-air training time, as well as indoor training in the range's classroom. As such, sunscreen and a hat might also be a good idea. We will break for lunch, but it is not provided, so packing a lunch is also recommended.
