I am curious, somewhere I have heard that some spydercos only have one liner, does the new military with the S30-V blade, have dual liners, I am thinking of getting one, but not if it only has one liner, your help is very appreciated..

Hi, Big Mickey, welcome to the Spyderco Forum.
As far as I know, all Military models have a single nested liner (which also acts like a lock). Be aware though that the single liner featured at some Spyderco models (like the Standard or the CF Delica) is to keep the clip screws in place rather than for solidity reasons. G10 (or CF) alone is tough enough. I never heard anone complaining about the Military handles, but I heard stories from firefighters about the blade being damaged (or even melted) while the G10 handles resisted (!)

Welcome to the forum, BIGMIKEY. The Military has only one liner but don't let that discourage you from getting one. Because the liner is nested within the G10 slab, this adds to its' strength while at the same time reduces the overall thickness of this Spydie.

I carry my CE daily and the linerlock has never failed me.

Welcome aboard the Spyderco Forums dude! Been using the Millie in the field for some time. Never had a single problem with the 'nested' liner. Though the G-10 slabs may seem 'flimsy' or perhaps too 'thin', never underestimate the strength of this particular thermoplastic handle! On the whole, despite having dual liners which most knifeknuts felt was necessary, the military is categorised for heavy use.. Take my word for it, I never leave home or my country without my millie!
