SAND!!

I went camping in the Everglades last week and I managed to get sand in my Calypso Jr. Lightweight. I've rinsed it several times and re-lubricated it but it still feels gritty when I open and close the knife. Can anyone give me some advice to make my knife operate smoothly again?

Tried to blow it with compressed air?
