Spydie Light?

Is this a real Spydie? Never heard of one w/a built in light. Or is this in the Sakai or Moki family?

The number says it's a G Sakai line model... or at least the GS in it is copying it...

Spyderco had this type of idea back in the early years, and called it a firefly. I have a pic around here somewhere I think. can't find the year or number in my books, but I'm tired right now.

So that's the infamous Hotaru / Firefly! Strange, I remeber I saw a knife they were claiming it's a Hotaru, it had a red LED light, the handles were black and there wasn't a front lock but a linerlock.

the black Firefly has a yellow button and a front lock also

I have a black firefly and the wife has one in yellow. They are good little knives, but the LED's are old style and are not very bright. I am going to replace the factory LED's with some of the new super bright type.
