Hey Patrick just out of curiousity I was wondering if you could tell me the price of the PE SS Cricket you are looking ito getting? Is it a local shop or are you going online to get it? Hope you don't mind me asking. By the way how are your folks doing?

My local has a price of 89.99cdn on the SS Cricket, so I'm buying from new graham, at a price of 40.56usd (+6usd for usps ground)... if my folks will let me throw it on thier visa. Tom said something to me earlier about using MOs, I'll have to find it again.

Folks are doing well enough. Still moving like 80yr olds though. Mom has a hard time bending down right now, but found out about her arms. Pinched a nerve in her elbow and wrist in both arms, as well as started the whiplash up to a point.
Dad might have a little longer on his wrist than he wants, find out when he goes in to a specialist in a week or so. The normal doc figures he broke the largest/densest(even a word?) bone in his wrist/thumb. Could be up to 8-9months to heal.

Here's the thing... I am thinking of getting one of the SS PE Crickets because I don't have a reverse-s PE spydie, or a Cricket for that matter(think I sould add one to the collection but hate the frn model). I would like to get a relatively cheaper one to try the blade style. I would like to get a Dodo when they come out but have yet to try the rev-s. Would like to make sure before spending a furtune on the Dodo as I think they will be expensive due to the matl's and such.
I am checking a price from my dealer and should receive info from them in a day or so. I would consider going in on an order with you if you are willing and would just pass on the extra shipping $ to you so you could get them and them mail me mine.
I don't want to impose or anything and I have not quite made up my mind so let me know when you are going to order and I will start deciding fast. Thanks. Hope this is no bother to you, if it is flip me the bird or something(no hard feelings!)

I'll be getting the SS PE just for a edc beater/dress carry, possibly putting my 'fly on standby for 24/7. Eric and I have been talking about different ideas that would show as much knife as possible but still hold it securely. So when I get it engraved in the GS style(my neighbour does laser engraving), it'll show.

Almost an ounce lighter than my current neck carry, and smaller, shouldn't stand out as a knife when it's outside my shirt.

Got my prices today and they sell the SS Cricket for 84.87$ Cdn.
Found out Spots are totally sold out and are really popular. I would like to get one but did not think they were all that popular?
Another q for ya>how do you like the Inova after using it for awhile? I can get one for 83$ Cdn. silver housing/full spectrum light. What is your model and how is it? Take Care.

My inova acted up after about a week of owning it. Everyone at work was grabbing it and looking at it, so I don't know if it was damaged.

Currently on my computer desk, going to Eric "normark" to get sent from his US box, when I send my fb05 on to him this week. Doesn't throw any light, even with fresh batts.

So I should save my pennies and buy something else then? I looked at a Streamlight Scorpion today for 68 bucks, the guy in the store said the local LEO's were using them and they were an awesome light.

The scorpion is a decent light. I think my next shot into LED lights(this one is going for warrenty and I'll still use it) is an ARC LS with the 123a pack.
