As the summer heats up, tempers around the prison are flaring.
This past Saturday saw an altercation between three inmates that left one with a nose that was nearly severed after being slashed by an attacker. That was quite a brawl.
Yesterday, an inmate was brought off the cell block quite bloody/bruised. When asked what happened, he replied, "I fell, and my bed hit me." I believe him, too, because he definitely was hit. I hope I'm never attacked like that by a bed.
Now, bed attacks are not a new thing; we've seen many over the years, and some quite brutal ones, at that.
Despite the large number of inmates attacked by their beds (and other inanimate furniture), the beds have proven very crafty and cunning, as we've never caught them in the act of attacking the inmates.
Please be careful, people....you never know what your bed is thinking. They're very unpredictable. :-)
