OK, I have read all the posts talking about the tritium glow rings. I have looked them up on the net. Can anyone tell me where in the U.S. I can get one (or several)?

How does the GlowRing work?
The glow inside a GlowRing is created by a small self-activated cold light source called a traser.

traser’s are produced by using highly specialised technology. Each traser is a small hollow glass tube, which has been internally coated with a phosphorous material, injected with a special gas and then sealed by a laser. The gas inside the tube excites the phosphor, which creates a cold light that will glow for ten years without any external power source.

Manufacture
In one single process a long traser tube is cut and sealed to a specified length by a CO2 laser and simultaneously injected with gas.

Important Note - Due to International Regulatory differences regarding the use of GTLS (traser lights), this product can only be sent to residents of the UK.

Only way I know of getting them over here in North America is through Piet... aka Bagheera... email him for availability, MOs go to his contact in the states.

I'd be concerned about the device giving of radioactivity. With my luck, I'd attach one to my keys, and since I keep 'em in my front pocket, I'd likely wind up with cancer of the nuts.

It's low level radioactive gas. Not enough to cause major concern. I had a front night site leak in my holster one shift. Although it isn't as much tritium as the glowrings, the family jewels were not damaged. Thanks for the Ebay info.

releases BETA radiation, which is stopped by clothing and skin... no risk at all.

Yeah, everything I have ever seen about them says the radiation they give off can escape the glass it is in and even if it is broken it will not make it past one layer of dead skin cells.
