Just bought myself a Ladybug, 50/50 blade... the boss complained again about me using my delica to open a box...
Looked at all the new spydies for about 45minutes...
the chinook has only one thing wrong with it... the handle is too damn thick... or at least in my opinion...
I asked and was turned away from SFO... I emailed them and found out that I can't custom order a knife... let me go cry in a corner.
I want a mariner but only problem is a want a 50/50 blade on it...
We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...
Hi Wolf. I think you'll enjoy he Ladybug. A very useful and definitely an "over achiever". I usually have one on my person.
Sorry about the "custom" Mariner. We never made a 50/50 sheepfoot. The time and cost to make one would probably scare you.

Always good to have handy. Great little knife for accurate, delicate cutting.
Great conversation starter when you match it up with an Endura LWT (looks a lot like a Baby Endura)

I noticed that... I have a Delica, same thing as the Endura...
damn, was thinking one knife, but used the wrong name... I want a Merlin... Harpy is nice but the price ain't...
Sal, what would the cost difference be? minimal or big difference?

Hi Wolf. When you say Mariner, do you mean the stainless version. We now make a "plain edge" Rescue. Is is the stainless handle of the Mariner that you want, or would the FRN handle of a Rescue work?

actually, I wrote the wrong name... was thinking Merlin. FRN version, cheaper, of the Harpy

This has been a good week for me and spydies. I just got a new gunting and a toad. Yahoo, custom collaborations rock!

My friend Vito convinced me that I want a Mariner (with the stainless steel scales), but I can't find any in a right hand version - Country knives had a left hand version). Any help out there?

Hi Gadfly, Knifecenter has them listed as a discontinued model on special.

Thank you Springer.
Knife Center did have three left (now two). They were prompt and I'm thrilled with my new acquisition.
