Anybody know the original Standard production years ???

Just curious about how many years the Standard with the stamped clip was made. I'm understanding they started making the original version around 84?? Got any idea what one might be worth?

According to the Spyderco Story, the Standard was introduced in 1984. It only says that they were discontinued in the "Mid-90's."
