Be careful though, there are a lot of Photon knock-offs on eBay.

I buy mine directly from the manufacturer - they offer free shipping when you order from their website. www.photonlight.com

edited to add: I looked at photon's website today, they have a one-day special running:

Special Offer:
Today Only! Save $5 off any order of $30 or more!
Coupon Code: CPN-08DEU26
Expires:Thursday, July 31, 2003

And you still get free shipping too, I believe.

Yep I bought both of mine on ebay. It was a guy that sells tons of Photons. I think shipping was $5 for both of them. And I got a pretty good deal on them too.

Last time I picked up some Photons was from www.southsummit.com. They had P2's for $8 and change and P3's for $11 and change. Bought 1/2 dozen white P2's and gave them all away last Xmas.

BTW,have you seen the new P3 chip? Replaces one of the blink modes w/SOS and flashes different when changing to battery save mode. Got one when I sent my white P3 off for warrenty work(was draining batts). I think I like the old chip better. The SOS part flashes a little too quick to really tell that it's Morse. Plus, from what I've heard,Morse isn't used much anymore(any boaters/aviators got any more info?).
