Good work! Now you have a tool you can use anytime.
What white balance setting are you using on your camera? Your picture looks very "blue", so you may want to use auto levels in your image editing program to get better color. Or play with the white balance settings on your camera to see which gives warmer colors.

You are right Rorschach. I have the camera on "Daylight", which was what you first suggested. I also realize now how blue the pics are. The background in the box is white and not blue. I'll try the "auto" option next time.

Aha, I see. You may want to consider a more neutral gray background for your lighbox, as white backgrounds tend to confuse digicams. I use gray construction paper and it seems to work better than white for me.

You may also adjust the pics using the Photoshop. Go to Image - adjust - hue/saturation. Hue adjusts the colour balance (more/less red/blue etc. while saturation puts more or less colour). Drag the sliders and you'll see (take care that the "preview" box should be checked).
