Just received my Dodo SE and if less is more, than the Dodo is the most! Congratulations to Eric and Sal on an innovative and practical design. The Dodo is the most knife you can put into that small a package. The Dodo has the look of a custom, especially with Eric's little "E". Innovative design, attention to detail, great production execution, sharp out of the box, dang!

The Dodo feels good in the hand, is ready to work and this bird has a sharp beak! The scales have great color (should match levis), the bead blasted top strap is a nice touch, and the ball bearing is fun to play with and locks up like Fort Knox with a friction fit which freezes any blade play. One hand open and close. Love the wire clip, this knife will replace my Meerkat as utility EDC here in the LA area. The handle seems a little long for my watch pocket and I will probably file off the last 1/4 inch. Although small and hopefully legal, this knife says "dont mess with me" (think mini-matriarch)and appears up to any task with the great CPMS30V. Made in Golden Colorado, "Earth", this is the Innovative folder of the Year!!

Nice review, bell.
I couldn't agree more. I've been carrying a Navigator (which I still think is a small wonder for hand-feel) but the Dodo actually fits my hand (avg-to-big) even better! The blade is very strong. I just may have to pony up for a PE model as well!

I just ordered a PE Dodo and UPS willing it should be here on Thursday. I am very eager to check this little guy out.

In addition to liking the knife overall, I also like the bead-blasted top strap. In fact, I'd love to see the entire blade bead blasted! Sal? Any chance?

The wire clip is also extremely aggressive at holding on; that knife is not coming out of the pocket!

I may have missed it but have not seem a post from Eric Glesser, the Dodo's daddy. I think it is time for Eric to stand up and take a bow. Congratulations on a great product.
