I like Vanilla Coke... I like Pepsi itself over Coke itself, but drink Coke products...

Picked up a 2l of Vanilla Pepsi last night, for less than a 600ml cost at the same place. One word: no. They took the bite out with a little too much smoothing. Tastes flat right when opened.

Whatever you do,don't go near that Pepsi Blue. :-P

The orange Moutain Dew isn't bad. Or course, the original green Dew is The Nectar of the Gods. ;-)

pepsi blue isn't bad, or is the red mountain dew... orange now? I agree though, green/original MD is nectar or the gods...

Orange Dew is just for this summer. Code Red Dew is in the regular lineup.

I work for them.I like Vallia Pepsi but I have heard several people lately saying that Pepsi is is tasteing flat.Live wire will be back next spring.Blue is on its way out,I can't belive we are still pushing it or the the Twist.IMO both of them suck.Mountain Dew Grape, wouldn't supprise me.We have no grape soda in most market units.

i find pepsi blue to be kind of addictive actually. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. green md is the best. orange kinda tastes like melted jello, kinda weird. pepsi twist is pretty good, but coke with lemon tastes like coke with a shot of mop and glow. not good.

Mountain Dew's Live Wire is pretty good, though, it gives me some odd smelling breath after drinking some.

I tried the Vanilla Pepsi and I didn't think it was bad at all. Pretty good in my opinion. It seems to me that they put less carbonation into the drink so it does taste smoother (easier to guzzle without having to pause for a burp).

-my 2 cents

I've noticed a lot of Pepsi going flat very quickly over the last couple of months. I thought it was just me.

I just found the vanilla pepsi. I love it. I also like the pepsi twist.

I find they're all pretty good, mixed about half-and-half with dark rum.

Pepsi have yet to launch vanilla and lemon here in the UK. Coke have though and they are both very nice. Pepsi is cheaper here for some reason 2ltr 89 p Coke 2ltr &#163;1.29.
Can of pepsi 330ml 25p can of coke same outlet 42p.
Personally I love coke original and drink about 2 ltr per-day.
On visiting the states recently for the first time Chicago, I found the culture very different no pubs as such.Just restaurants where you could have a beer with your meal at $4 per pint.
They had off licences where you could buy the full range if you wanted it.
Felt very strange at 37 years of age being asked to prove I was over 21.
great country the USA I want to return and to keep everyone happy I will drink both Coke and Pepsi,cheers...... burp!

We do have what you would call pubs just not in the large cities.I feel like I am in a differant country when I go to a large city here.If you really want to see the real USA go to the smaller towns away from the huge cities.

Strange, I never could discern the difference between Pepsi (Cola) and Coca Cola. My wife preffers Pepsi. Vanilla Pepsi - that's a new one, I guess it still has to reach here. The Twist is decent. Didn't know that MD is made also by Pepsi. It recently hit the market here, but I didn't have the guts to try it so far <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I guess it's because of the commercials with that guy fighting with that jaguar / deer. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Speaking for my part, I'd rather take some fruits and make genuine juice, but that's just me. And I seldom drink coffee either so caffeine doesn't hit the spot.

Dialex,Mt Dew is great. Its tatses nothing like juice. It was oringinly invented in Knoxville Tn by a guy that wanted a good mixer. It does mix great with Vodka. Here in my market unit it outsells Pepsi and Coke.In the northern US it doesn't do as well but them yankees love the twist.

Thanks for the tip Jeff. I'll get a bottle tomorrow <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> You were saying there are several sorts? I only saw a single type, it comes in a green bottle.

the original/green is the best. try mixing it about 1/2 and 1/2 with an orange or mango juice... that's nectar of the gods I tell yah.

Can also get &quot;code red&quot;, which is cherry.
don't know about the orange, have no idea on &quot;live wire&quot;, haven't seen either here yet.

The code red is ok but the live wire is about as good as the green.
Code Red and Live wire are both really new and will take a while to get into other countries.
Dialex, send me your address, not in an attachment! and I will send you a can of Live wire and maybe some Oreos.

Many thanks Jeff, but AFAIK you can't send food over the pond. I'll contact you when I'll be in the States and I'll make you buy me juice and cakes <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
OTOH I tried the green MD. It's good. Surprisingly, it resembles the Sprite, but I don't like Sprite. Yet I like this MD (the green one is available here)

From all those Pepsi / Coke products, I still like the old Kinley most. Even without gin <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
