I think the clip on this knife the small version is titanium a new titanium is nonmagnetic and it's probably not aluminum also I don't want to take the clip off just to tell it had trouble with screws into 10 before and I ain't messing with it. Also if anyone knows the liner lock is titanium right so are the clip screws set into that? Has anyone noticed that the techno section is severely injured if not clinically dead, morbid yes that accurate quite probably. thanks please.

Slow down, man. Take a few deep breaths....

I can't really tell what you're asking. Care to clarify?

OK sorry working with voice acquisition soft.centofante jr. May the clip be titanium it's not the same clip shown in 02 catalog no spider emblem has patent number and it is matte black and very secure. The blade is numbered to 245 of 1000 I believe. I was also wondering if it is threaded into steel or just into the G.10 it looks like it's into steel kind of an inset bolster, but in either case I don't want to loosen it just two see. Thank you I hope this works better for you , sincerely. Walks with trees

druid,

I believe the clip on the Centofante is stainless steel as is the liner. Stainless is also non-magnetic due to the chromium (I think). IIRC has never used titanium for liners. I think the clip screws into the liner but can't be sure as I swapped my G10 Centofante some time ago. Have a look inside the knife to see if there are any screw holes visible.

The screws are steel made. They don't make ti screws, because titanium, though flexible, is not hard enough.
The Centofante (nice knives, BTW, both the big C50 and the smaller C25) has steel liners and steel clip. It is possible that the clip of your knife is bead blasted, thus having that matte look.

Life is definitely too short for instant coffee.dialax sorry I try. You are right of course, and the new rescue covers the nitch well a sheath to provide easy emergency access might be a good option though. As for the blade locking thing you're right, I just don't want to get pulled over and explain not one but two knives in easy reach. But it don't always carry my clip and sometimes when you need it you really need it. I'm very grateful that you take the time to reply to my amateur steps in the dark.
