I applaud you Mr. Glesser! You actually post on your companies forum, and ask the people who use your knives for input!? That's comendable and it really shows that you give a damn! Unlike others who frown upon knife users who may have a great idea, you welcome ideas and obviously still have an open mind therefore you are advancing in your field. My friend of Kershaw fame said that big companies get a LOT of ideas daily, but most of them are 90% Crud. Regardless of that, you are willing to listen and not just hear, even if it is 90% crud! Thanks for allowing us knife users to be involved...hopefully with our input and your resources, Spyderco will continue to evolve and lead the way. Hey, since I'm here, I got a Co-pilot with brass "liners" under the ss scales...when was this guy made?
Again, thank you Mr. Glesser, and God bless!

Hi Daywalker, Thanx for the kind words and welcome to the Spyderco forum.
A CoPilot with brass liners, man, you are showing your age.
The Knife user is the most important of the knife business equation. Take them away and the entire business chain fails.
Is there someone more important that I be talking with?

Hey Sal,
No, there should be no one else to speak to in terms of importance but some companies feel that their r&d departments "know it all" so they shun a rapport with guys like me, the user.
RE: So...when was the Copilot made? prior to the terrorist attacks, that knife travelled with me during transports and exchanges of inmates...Now, "she" just has a place in my fanny pack in case I forget my Endura or one of your other knives. It was neat in that there was brass between the liners, so I bought it because I never saw a Spyder with brass in it...showing my age, huh? lol...
Well, take care and God bless...I want on of them Kiwi's! Any plans on a zytel version? I haven't been paying much attention to the latest knives lately and that little one was beatiful!
