I have a G. Sakai Clutch-lock. I'm not sure of the variations, but mine has the blue handle with the mother-of-pearl scale on one side. My first impression is that this is a very light knife. The blue handle tends to collect fingerprints, but they can be wiped off easily. The lock mechanism takes some getting used to at first, but with practice works easily. This is not my edc so I can't tell you about carrying it everyday. The blade has a satin finish and is not real thick. Along with the Ti handle this is a very elegant knife. It would work well as an office-light-duty knife rather than a hiking-hunting blade. Workmanship is good, though one concern I would have is that if the handle gets scratched it would really show up. The handle finish is anodized blue. The mother-of-pearl mini-scale sits on top of the handle, not flush. I hope this helps. I like the knife, but I would look at one before you purchase it to make sure it works for you.
