Does Spyderco have any plans for making a straight razor? The reason I ask is that I shave my head occasionally during the summer, and I've been thinking of trying a straight razor.

Carson,

What? You mean you don't like to shave with your Calypso like the rest of us? ;-)

Incidentally, I just bought a new Calypso and an old green Rescue. The forum really makes me excited about knives! The Calypso is magnificent, I can't vouch for a clean shave, but I love it.

Interesting the effect that this forum has on even someone without a <need> for multiple knives, (Or razors).

there would be somthing real cool about a high glossy black straitght rasor handle with the gold spyder logo on it. i'm not sure about the hole, but may be.

I never really had a design in mind, just something made Spyderco style(You guys know what I mean).I wouldn't think there would be much room for changing the design on a straight razor, but with Spyderco, you never know.

You'll have to excuse Dav for his flipancy, the razor of choice is the plain edge Military

When is Spyderco going to make replacement arm hair ?? I'm running out fast.

Hi Carson. Sorry I didn't get to your earlier post.

No plans for a straight razor. Dovo makes a pretty good razor. At least that's the brand I had the best results with when I went through the "I'm gonna shave with a straight razor" period in my life. There is a learning curve, especially in sharpening and stropping.
