Got new toys

Hello, just received some new knives to indulge the beast within <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> A green PE Salsa, a PE blue Lum Chinese and a CRKT Rollock™ (OK, not a spydie, but definitely interesting).

I was pretty amazed by the Salsa - it's much bigger than I though seing the pictures. With its broad full flat ground blade like a shovel it makes for a great utility knife - which it already became, in the hands of my wife who adopted it immediately as her current EDC.

The blue Lum is a beauty. I heard the Almite is prone to scratching though, so I'd rather not EDC it. But it makes such a fine adition to my other custom collaborations (Vesuvius, Chinook and Shabaria) <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

As for the CRKT, well, with every knife I have, I learn more. The Rollock is an interesting concept, makes a solid lock, though I don't find it very one handed friendly.

Congrats on the new toys. I picked up a Rollock after reading VW's review. I wish it had a disc on the top(like the Tighe Tac). That would make it so much easier to close one-handed.

Almite does scuff easy. Carried an Ayoob for a couple days and the coating wore off in a couple spots. Really small and hard to see,but I was really surprised how easy it happened.

congrats Dialex, the Lum is one of my favourites..blu.mmmm
the almite ..yes, it's easy to scratch it.my navigator is a little ruined..
and the rollock looks interesting to play with.
