folder problem

I just recaived a stainless steel handled Rescue Jr. I noticed that when it is closed, the blade does not fit the whole way inside the handle. I can still see part of the serrations. I know this isn't right because my brother's doesn't do this. I think it is because where the blade meets the handle on the bottom, the metal raises up and then curves back down. On my brother's knife, this part is strait. Is this something I need to send my knife back to Spyderco to fix?
