I like the concept of a knife with a snap or clip on the end. But what I'd really like to see is one with a "D" ring type clip(make it easier to remove with gloved hands and a blade about 3 inches that I could hang on a clip on my bunker gear(Firefighter gear).

Hi Nsfirechap. thanx for the suggestions. You wouldn't want to send me a sketch of the "D" ring clip you have in mind and where it would be mounted on the knife? That would sure help understanding.

I like the Snap it and the Remote release but on my climbing harness the gear loops ar sometimes difficult to get the knife released.I guess it's due to the diameter of the gear loop.Also my rescue harness has nylon tape loops which make it almost impossible to get the knife off.I find the remote release is the easiest with gloves on.
