Where are Spydercos made?

I don't mean to sound stupid, but I don't know much about Spyderco except their exclusive designs they come up with. I got to get me one of those Vieles

Hi Automaticman. Perhaps un-informed, certainly not stupid.

Spyderco makes most (75%) of our knives in Seki City, Japan with several selected makers that we have been working with for many years. The balance are made in our Golden, Colorado facility.

In the past, we have made knives in Switzerland and Germany.

Concepting is all done in Golden. At this time, most of the engineering is done in Golden, especially with the newer hi-tech concepts.
