The tip on my new Viele Broke

I was in the process of moving and just finished slicing a piece of rubber hose and noticed that the very tip of my Viele VG10 Blade had broken off. I was astonished because the knife was new and I wouldn't think this would happen with the VG10 Blade. However, the way the blade is shaped, the tip is minute. I've never cut anything with it except boxes and the rubber hose. Seems sort of strange. Is there a place I could send this back to to get it looked at?

Sorry you're having a problem. Contact Mike at Spyderco Warrantee & repair (800 525 7770). It is not a common problem with the Viele model though.
