hey guys and gals, my new toy arrived in the mail today. a buddy of mine gave it to me as a christmas/birthday gift (b-day is 12/13... i turn 20!!!!) it's a surefire 8AX commander. all i can say is WOW!!!!! this light rocks. it's bright and best of all it's rechargeable. don't have to buy those pesky 123's. came with 2 batteries that were already charged. i've got the spare in my left cargo pocket. man this light is cool. the hard anodized finish rocks. more to come on this later as i use it more. take care all

Sven, Surefires are great lights. I've got three, with more to come.

You'll find that they're among the most durable lights you can buy. Durable enough for our Special Ops forces, so you know they have to be good stuff.
Enjoy!
