Smooth open and closing action is due to the relationship between the blade's weight, the lock's shape and the spring's shape. All a result of implementing precise, close manufacturing tolerances. Made from premium S30V steel, the blade is double flat-ground with aggressive thumb serrations notched above the 14mm Spyderco Round Hole.
