Welcome to the forum!

You are on a good start with what you have now.
I suggest something with serrations next.
At work I use a serrated Meadowlark Hawkbill and it is plenty tough.

Spyderco does serrations very well.

I am happy to help you spend your money. :D

I suggest either a Pacific Salt serrated or a Manix 2 Lightweight.

If you like larger knives I would suggest trying out the Military.

If you're into serrations, or want to give them a good try, I will also recommend the Pacific Salt SE.

Do you have any special personal preferences with knives, such as size, designs, blade materials, handle materials, lock type, etc?

I really life leaf shape blades, and prefer the G10 but Id like to try similar materials.. I really like the look of the Paramilitary 2 and the Endur to.. the other two (Civilian and Matriarch) look amazing as well definitely must have for me one day.. but I think I’m going with Pacific Salt Spyderco Edge next because it’s so highly recommended in the replies.. thanks everyone btw!

I’m going to agree with bodog, pick anything.
Choose by size that works for you, lock type, it’s on sale, it’s the color you like, etc. they are all good.

My real recommendation is to get a sharpmaker and keep them sharp. Not too hard. Make your old blades new again.

If you like leaf shape blades and G10 look into the Manix 2. Everyone should own at least 1 Pacific Salt SE. I’d also get a sharpmaker. Nothing else will make sharpening serrations easier.

The Pacific Salt is a great choice.

I'd echo what blueblur and SF Native said though - if you don't yet own a Sharpmaker, get one ASAP. Keeping your knives sharp - especially serrated ones - is so much easier with the SM.

I have a Tormek 2000 Supergrind, with two blade jigs, should I still get a sharpmaker for different grind edges or something or specificity serrations?

I'd definitely get the Sharpmaker for doing serrations. It's also really nice and much faster for quick touch-ups.
