Mine used to and I wasn't a fan of how the polished bolsters picked up scratches, and then I gutted a deer with it and wasn't a fan of how slick it was.Larry_Mott wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 1:58 pmMan, that don't look right to me.. Mine's got polished bolsters and shiny G10..
So I took the scales and bolsters off and stonewashed them and now it's better in both those regards.
The original inspiration was actually a post on Bladeforums where someone had a set of green micarta scales made, sandblasted the bolsters, and I want to say also acid etched the blade (can't remember exact build or poster, sorry). That one looked sick but I didn't have the money or skill to get mine there, so the tumbler sufficed.

Hanan. I keep thinking this would've been better as a liner lock.

By a Rockjumper. You can still find them on sale at some sites and they have been discontinued. Doesn’t that qualify? If not I’m in the same boat as you.kennethsime wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 9:35 pmMan I love this idea, but I'll have to live vicariously through you old timers. I think the oldest Spydercos I have at this point only date back to 2019!

Been carrying one all week actually! Great knife. Need to get a deep carry clip for mine.VandymanG wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 3:36 pmBy a Rockjumper. I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

I wish Spyderco would re-issue the PPT...! Love the blade shape.
