Thank You Spyderco
Thank You Spyderco
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section. This is my first post here and I would like to kindly thank the whole Spyderco Team for making my job easier and safer. For the last 12 years I've been working as a law enforcement officer with the Alberta Sheriffs in Canada. I'm the first generation immigrant here and money was always tight, but back when I was at the Academy someone recommended me the Byrd Raven 2 knife and it was riding in my pocket for almost a decade ever since. It actually saved one life, when I cut off the piece of clothing on a person experiencing a mental health crisis that was attempting to suffocate herself with it (she was pretty close to succeed there). Otherwise it was always there to cut some regular stuff that needed to be cut. Not sure if this is a thing any longer, but as your client I would simply like to express my gratitude and appreciation for all your hard work. Since the last year I was able to purchase more Spyderco knives and I sure plan of supplying myself with additional ones eventually. My lovely wife gave me a set of Thin Blue Line blades (Endura, Endela and Delica) for Christmas last year. I'm not an expert, but I'm sure glad that I have found a way to communicate with You Guys and perhaps learn something more in the future. Best of luck in your future ventures! Adam

Thanks Kristi for approving my post (wasn't sure how everything works here). Sometimes in the daily grind, when the life's routine kicks in we may forget that each of us can make an actual difference. I just wanted to be sure that You Folks at Spyderco know that your job certainly did make a difference in someone's life. It feels very natural to use your knives even under some pressure. That Spydie hole sure works great! Stay safe everyone.

Thanks for the story. I see you have a thoughtful wife who upgraded your daily carry. She made a stellar choice.
