One of the defining features of this elite expression of the Para 3 is its blade, which is crafted from premium K390 MICROCLEAN® steel. Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 is an state-of-the-art cold work tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its advanced alloy mix was specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. Despite its toughness, its exceptionally fine, homogeneous microstructure also makes it readily machinable and easy to heat treat. Collectively, these qualities make K390 an outstanding blade steel.

To further distinguish this Bento Box Exclusive from ordinary versions of the Para 3, it also features ranger green G-10 handle scales. The textured scales are precision machined to house nested stainless steel liners that provide excellent structural strength and form the foundation of the knife's Compression Lock® mechanism—a high-strength, extremely user-friendly lock that allows safe and easy one-handed operation. To ensure convenient carry and instant access, the handle also includes a four-position clip that supports right or left-side, tip-up or tip-down carry and an oversized lined lanyard hole for the attachment of fobs or lanyards.
