Yojumbo™ Cobalt Blue G-10 CPM® SPY27®

Michael Janich’s YoJumbo builds upon the success of his trendsetting Yojimbo™ 2 design, scaling it up by more than 20 percent and refining its ergonomics to fit a wider range of hand sizes. The newest expression of this formidable design renders its dramatic Wharncliffe blade in our proprietary CPM® SPY27® blade steel. This cobalt-enriched particle metallurgy stainless steel is exclusive to Spyderco knives and delivers an outstanding balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The deeply hollow-ground blade of the YoJumbo takes full advantage of these qualities and features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. Its open-backed handle is built on a framework of skeletonized stainless steel liners that minimize its weight while providing a solid foundation for its high-strength Compression Lock mechanism. The liners are nested within coarse peel-ply-textured G-10 scales proudly showcasing a cobalt blue color—one of the signature handle colors of Spyderco’s CPM SPY27 family. To keep this incredibly capable knife poised for immediate access, the handle includes a four-position pocket clip that is configurable for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the body.
